Wolves Take the Crossbar Challenge

By: Daryl | February 28th, 2008

This is from back in 2006, when Wolves took the famous Soccer AM Crossbar Challenge. Basically each player announces his name and position and then attempts to hit the bar from distance.

None of the boys managed it, and Leon Clarke’s woeful effort showed why we were wise to send him packing despite his authentic West Midlands accent. But my absolute favourite is Rohan Ricketts, who seems to genuinely believe his position is “playmaker.” Dream on Rohan. Wolves released him on a free last summer.

To see other teams take the Soccer AM Crossbar Challenge, many of them more successfully than Wolves, check out The Crossbar Challenge Blog.
