Wolves vs West Ham
By: Daryl | August 14th, 2009
Hi all, Daryl here. Just stepping in to fill the temporary void.
We should be able to unveil a new Wolves blogger (or bloggers) in the very near future. But with Wolves re-introduction to the Premier League just a few hours away, I thought I’d put up a post for pre and post West Ham game discussion.
Kickoff is Saturday at 3pm.
Berra, Iwelumo and Kightly are all out injured, and Kevin Doyle sounds like he’s 50/50. But Mancienne is back at Molineux (on loan) and ready to go. So, who’s in your starting XI vs West Ham?

My first weekend shifts today, I’m at work 12-9….baassstard. There’s always MoTD though I guess?
I’d go for a bit of this
Henners
Foley, Craddock/Zubar?, Mancienne, Elokobi
Halford,Milijas, Henry, Jarvis, Surman
Ebanks Blake4-5-1
I know that’s a bit tame at home, but with Doyle not fit I’m not sure if starting with two up front is the best idea, Surman and Halford both have the ability to drop back and go forward….a bit more than Kights or Jarvis ever did *cough*
Oh now I am rather sad. It really is over.
Sigh.
Good luck to everyone, have a great day if you’re going, make the Mol a fortress, be the 12th man.

No problem Daryl. Odd seeing your post in a grey background Toby!
———–Hennessey————-
Foley–Mancienne–Craddock–Elokobi
Halford–Edwards–Milijas–Jarvo
———–Keogh–SEB————–I can’t see him playing without Henry though and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ward at left back – he deserves his chance to be fair. I found it amusing to see him up as a striker in fantasy football. I’ve not seen or heard too much about Zubar still hence his omission but with 7 subs it gives plenty of options. Hahnneman, Zubar, Stearman, Surman, Ward, Henry, Vokes. Without Iwelumo, Doyle and Kightly we do seem very thin at the front. I just would hate to see SEB as a lone striker – he isn’t one.

Well, good to be back home in time from numerous skin cancer surgeries…bring on West Ham !
There are some possible stream for all of you fellow Wolves from abroad. See here:

Hope at least one will work and I hope Wolves can kickstart the campaign with a home win like St.Pauli did with a very late stoppage time winner beating RW Ahlen by two goals to one…
C’MON YOU WOLVES !!!
See ehm read ya later

By the way, keep that link on the down low so it doesn’t get yanked.

Well, a disappointing result, but not a bad performance by any means. It’s the same old story, though: they can look very good going forward, but are prone to sloppy errors at the back — and those are really going to get punished in the PL.

Exactly, Andrew. We can’t take too much from the lack of goals considering who was not playing.
One thing we can feel comfortable with – Milijas will be right at home in this league offensively.
They were always considered a little weak defensively and Mick is going to have to find a way to shore it up. He still has two weeks to sign someone.Posted from

Anyone know where there is a source of the game I can download for free? I tried watching it live online but the quality was pretty bad and died out occassionally.

Of course I pick the Everton goalie in the fantasy league :^)
