It's cracking stuff, it's one up from super market sugar fizz rip offs like Blue Charge and Red Ox, yet still looks like you're drinking in public, people look at you with disgust in their eyes. It's brilliant.

He missed a game because of snow once, bless him.

He only missed out in the last Wales friendly because him and Myhill alternate playing in friendlies...wouldn't read too much into him losing his place on that front.

Even if Ikeme retains his place...? Boaz Myhill has taken his place in the Wales team too, so first team football with his rivals fit is looking increasingly unlikely. Depends who his agent is I suppose. If he has someone whispering evils in his ear, Wayne might get itchy feet.

As for the goalie getting the chop in the midst of a dire run, you're probably right. But Stearman started the last game (unless this was due to an injury to someone else), so after his recent misdemeanour of failing to understand how watches work, might he be liable for the chop?

I honestly don't you know? As a club we've sort of got a history of developing our keepers from the accademy and keeping hold of them, I don't see why we'd sell him to be honest? Going into Jan and saying we're still in the top two, it wouldn't make much sense finanicially or team wise, and if we've dropped out of the top two, which could happen we'd probably need him even more, keepers are the first to go when a team does badly...least that's been the case with Wolves. Plus, what with Murray gone it's put a different dimention on the thing all together, I think *possibly* if Matt had come back to full strength he might have gone, but with him out for a year, I just can't see him going.

I suppose growing up he'll shake off the shy shackles that prevent him being a screamer but would your club not accept a fee in the region of £3m for him right now?

"Brum aren't exactly blessed up front?" On paper, you'd think that statement was ridiculous. In reality, other than Phillips who has offered his usual little else bar several key goals, the rest of their strikers have failed to shine.

As for the Brum formation, it's one of those where some might call it 4-3-3 but when they don't have the ball it's as negative as possible!

They'll play 5-4-1 if anything, I've seen them do that a few times as they've not exactly blessed up front, switching to a 4-3-3 if they fall behind?

As for Higgs he's on loan till the end of December, so literally he's there to warm the bench if Ikeme or Hennessey get injured me thinks, and to work with our keepers I guess, I've got no idea about him, I'm sure he's picked up something useful at the age of 31.

Hennessey isn't going anywhere to be honest, if he went he wouldn't go anywhere better than Wolves, ie he'd be on the bench for the top half of the table, and to be honest...he's not that great right now. I'm sure he'll come good but he's a bit of a liability at times, great shot stopper, but no real command of his box or defence at times, you feel Prem bosses know this which is why we've yet to have any offers, yes, plenty of scouts and piffle in papers yet no ones come up to us and said "here's 5 million quid, can we have your keeper?" It's only cause he's British...his price is inflated and everyone thinks he's great. He aint alllll that.

i think if blues come and have ago at us that will play to our strengths as we have been lethal on the counter so far this season and our defence is improving every week

A p.s. of sorts, how do you reckon Brum will line up? A cautious 4-4-2 doesn't seem to play to their top-heavy strengths, and sitting back would be a bad idea altogether against a team like the one you follow. If they go all out 4-3-3 and take the game to you, get a few early scares in, they could pipe Molineux down and ensure the likes of Henry and Kightly don't get started. If Kemy Aguestien and Quincy are awake/fit/starting then they'll help ease the absence of Carsley too. I'm looking forward to watching it!

Are you signing Shane Higgs on a permanent deal? If so, erm, why? With Hennessey destined to leave maybe as early as January and Matt Murray well, fecked, what happens if Ikeme ges injured? Is Higgs the man to stand between the sticks for a team on the verge of reaching The Promised Land (TM)? A 31 year old former-regular League One keeper who had his best season 3 years ago. An odd signing if you ask me, unless its not a deal being made permanent.
