VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Wolves 0 Reading 3

By: Matt | October 2nd, 2008

For those sado masochists (and Royals) amongst us, here are the highlights of the Reading match. I had to go overseas at short notice (and I’m still away) so unfortunately missed the Bristol City match, but fortunately missed the Reading game. It was nothing short of a disaster of a night. Almost more important than result Wolves lost 2 of their most influential players to injury, havoc and mayhem on the wing, otherwise know as Jarvis and Kightly. Jarvis will be missing for at least 8 weeks, while Kightly should be out for 3 to 4 weeks. However there is good news coming regarding a loan replacement in the next post.

Despite playing the majority of the game without both wingers and Iwelumo up front, plaudits should go to Reading, who put in a great away performance and fully deserved their win. Despite our fall from grace, I still think over the whole season we are capable of automatic promotion with this squad, I think the 2 top places will between Wolves, Reading and Birmingham, who all look a class above the rest. There are however, some hard weeks ahead in the near future for wingless Wolves.
