Design Your Own Wolves Crest Competition

Hello, as a few of you have suggested it, and as it’s still a week till we play again I thought I’d hold a “design your own Wolves Crest” super art competition. Seeing as we’re not allowed to use the actual crest anymore, I’m pretty sure we’ll be able to use one that we design ourselves, just try not to make it too similar to the current one and we’ll get away with it. My offering is below, that took not long at all, so if you want to email me your entries to toblerone705@hotmail.com with the Subject line of “Wolves Crest Competition” just so I can spot your emails, (please don’t spam me) and if I actually get any I’ll put them all up on Friday and I’ll hold a vote for us to decide which one we like the best!

Who knows, with a bit of technofancery maybe Daryl might be able to get it up as our new badge.

So go go go! Hand drawn designs are fine! Just take a picture or something?

If no one enters we’ll never speak of this again!

  hi toby…im too old to know how to begin to design a badge but as i’ve suggested on the 606 site can you not use the City of Wolverhampton coat of arms? keep up the good work Toby….OUT OF DARKNESS COMETH LIGHT!

  When I’ve had some entries I’ll do a poll, and then it’s all nice and democratic! I’ll have to ask about the Wolvo City crest of arms, might email the council.

  That one is actually quite large, try to make it squarish, and big, so we can scale down, it’s always easier to scale down than up obviously, so get blue skying, or other PC friendly office thinking terms!

  I think the way you and your website is being treated is nothing more than scandalous. Wolves should be ashamed of themselves. I live in Australia and your website is the only way I can keep up with the developments at Wolves. I subscribed to Wolves World for nearly 6 months and never managed to get a video or a live commentary working. In the end I cancelled and had my money back.

  I agree with others, use the Wolverhampton City crest. I never liked the cheap and tacky wolf head anyway.

  good idea, (I’m no designer but I will try and do one for friday), b.t.w. have written to wolves about the crest. If the bother to read my email you should be receiving a job offer from the club any time soon….

  I have neither the time nor the talent to design a crest (that’s a half-lie – I have plenty of time but I’m a fat-thumbed idiot) but I have whizzed off a moany email to Wolves this morning.

  I’ll see if my kids fancy designing a new crest – they like that sort of thing.

  i go on holiday for a week and there are daily updates, dramatic loan signings and the offside put wolves on their hate list. i am officially not leaving the internet until the season is over just incase something else important happens.

  sorry i know this has probably been discussed already but what do people think of signing harewood. I think it could be quite handy, big strong forward with a lot of experience. May only get 1 or 2 goals but they could be the ones that cement our position for hopefully ‘p’

  The results were 151 people for the signing of Harewood and only 11 against, so I think it’s safe to say the majority of fans agree with you Sam, me too, I think he’s a great player to have in the squad till the end of the season.

  I too emailed wolves this morning complaining and moaning that they should be endorsing this kind of site. If Fifa’s manager mode taught me nething its that fan sites like this are a way to boost fan support and possibly gain a pund or two…who knows! Anyways if your after a decent picture of the crest I have one lurking on my pc somewhere and its good quality. There should be no issues using a coat of arms as you can pick them up anywhere.
