Hello, today’s and the rest of the videos have been cancelled as my youtube account has been taken down as of 9.51 this morning down due to copyright infringement. The fact that this has happened in the same move as Wolves emailing me to say I can’t use the Club Badge is a mighty coincidence. I’m guessing they’ve got into the office this morning and have decided to take me out completely.
It’s left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
So there you go.

That’s not great news…but probably not a great surprise given how risk averse / protective companies are allowing people to use their “brands”.Could you use the Wolverhampton Town logo instead – http://www.wolverhamptonhistory.org.uk/assets/userfiles/wolverhampton_history/local_government/002283.jpg
I’ve definitely got an old Good Year (94/95 season I think) strip that has this on it…

Again, how shortsighted. It’s not like they have a physical product that they lose money on by you posting vids. In fact, what you do here only strengthens the Wolves “brand”. If they had any sense they’d try to work with people like you to promote the club in an innovative way. Well, not really that innovative – the Internet’s fairly widely known these days, I believe.
Never mind, we’ll still come here to read your comments, if you’re not too disenchanted to continue.

To be honest I kinda was and still am sligtly. I’m just trying to make this an interesting place to be, with views, polls, live casts and videos were part of that. They’ve made me feel like a criminal if I’m being honest.
I’ll carry on!

I think Berra will become an internatial fixture for years to come if he can be as consistant as he has been over the last two weeks or so, as for Big Chris, I reckon he’s always worth a try internationally with 20 minutes to go if all else has failed, the last thing defenders want when they’re run all game is to spend the last twenty jumping their hearts out.

this is a DISGRACE, they are OUR team and OUR club and its OUR badge, they belong to us and not some douche in a suit in the directors box (im not refering to anyone in particular just “the suits upstairs” in general) they have to remember they would be nothing without the fans.
Also like the dude in hte first comment said you are if anything streegthening their brand, i hate how people who have no idea about the internet just throw a hissy over this sort of stuff………..so much for freedum huh
Hope you carry on with it though mate, its a top site youve put together and it is by far the best on here.

And yes, what you’re all saying is what my tired mind was going through this morning when I got the email from the club along side 34 emails from youtube telling me off about copyright infringement.

Nah, seriously this is an absolute joke by the club. If they should do anything to you, it should be giving you a job for the official website or advertising this site in the pro gramme (though then the WUMs would come). Don’t be too disheartened Toby, it’s the writing 99% of us come for, and they can’t take your keyboard away from you… OR CAN THEY?

I had higher hopes to be honest, I’d love to write about the club and get paid for it, because I do this for free and it’s really fun! Maybe I should apply for the Express and Star, maybe try and steer that rag away from being a mini Daily Mail.

fyfe, the setting for your computers language could be set to, english (united states) instead of, english (UK). Sometimes this can be the problem.
Real shame about the distractions, hope it doesn’t spoil your good work to much in the future.

You are actually helping our great club get noticed and providing a free service to wolves fans near and far. Your site has lively debate and is head and shoulders above the Wolves official site. Moxey should be paying you not sueing you.

You never know, if this actually reached moxey he might endorse it a bit if we all said what a fantastic job the lads been doing over the last god knows how many years and maybe if its direct to him give us shit for it…either that or sue the site till kingdom come! Technically reposting highlights within 24 hours of it being shown isnt illegal, posting after that is…but these finer points of law often go unrecognised

I’m worried about the sueing I’ll be totally honest, I currently have 20 quid left of my grand overdraft as it is and I’m out of work in three weeks…I can’t really afford to pick fights!
And yeah, it may seem like I’ve been here for years, but it’s actually only been…6 months! Nearly 7. I’ll take that as a complement!
